Cajun Concrete Design''s installers are fully certified by Elite Crete Systems in all aspects of decorative concrete.  One of the most important ingredients to a successful installation is surface preparation.  Many companies take short cuts to save time and or money.

We have the equipment required to do the job right.  We own a planetary floor grinder which uses diamond tooling to insure the concrete is in the proper state to accept the overlay, epoxy or stains. We also have an industrial vacuum to keep the concrete dust at bay while grinding.  

Installing a stain: Each concrete surface will accept stains differently depending on chemical makeup, age, porosity, mix design, texture, ambient temperatures and the original color of the concrete.  Preparation for staining will depend on the condition of the slab.

When installing overlays and epoxy, almost all concrete needs to be fully prepped to accept these materials.  This usually consists of diamond grinding the concrete.  This process will allow the materials to penetrate the concretes pores and fully bond with the concrete.

Most jobs are completed in a few days depending on the size of the project.  We do our very best to leave the surroundings as undisturbed as possible.
